West Berlin looks to JFK for hope

JFK has a message for West Berlin: America is on your side! An enormous crowd is here to hear it. They are scared, but JFK gives them hope. They are West Berliners. They live on one side of a wall built through their city by Communists. The wall divides them from friends, family, and places they know. And every day the Communists might come from the East to take their side, too. On the steps of their City Hall JFK pledges to fight for their freedom.
