Young marchers are overcome by police

This is what the police do in Birmingham, Alabama. These are children and teenagers. For the 2^nd day in a row, 1,000 of them walked here from the 16^th Street Baptist Church. Their plan: enter whites only buildings. The police threw yesterday’s marchers in jail. Now the jails are full, so Police Chief Bull Connor comes up with a new idea. Turn on the fire hoses! Sic the dogs! These are children and teenagers.
